DBA, PL/SQL PROGRAMMING

 HELLO TO ALL, CAN ANYONE HELP ME IS COMPULSORY TO TAKE PL/SQL COURSE THOSE WHO FINISH DBA 10G, IF YESS CAN U SAY REASON , I M WAITING FOR

It is not compulsory for DBA.
sql knowledge is compulsory. The 10g database course was not having separate sql paper.Now they have included the sql paper.
If you are working for development company then it is good to have knowledge of pl/sql.
Also the pl/sql knowledge helps for sql tuning and for scheduling the DBA task through procedures.
