Client is looking for Informatica SME. Must have hands on design experience, not just development experience. Will need to show best practices, design review, and be an overall Informatica guru.
Duties/Responsibili ties
As Data Integration Lead, you will be responsible for the overall data integration design of the project/program. Person will be responsible for ensuring that the data integration designs align with the established information standards and responsible for collecting, leveraging and designing reusable components during the lifecycle of the project. Will evaluate and Validate data integration and ETL tools and provides recommendations.
You will with a team of Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Technical Project Managers, etc to effectively deliver projects & initiatives and you will require the capability to work in large cross-functional teams. You will contribute to enterprise-wide strategic planning, technical governance for information exchange & harvesting, as well as assist in managing tactical responses.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Person must have at least 10 years experience in Informatica. Strong experience in data integration, data warehousing and ETL is a must.
Have developed standards and practices for Informatica installation, administration, backup & recovery, design features and functionality of Power center and related modules. Can provide guidelines and help for setup, configuration, management and support of Informatica platforms across multiple locations. Provided training and support to customers/users and can act as a Subject matter expert in this area. Acts as a technical lead and mentor to the Platform Data Integration group.

Excellent problem resolution and analysis skills. Must be able to present complex data/concepts in a clear, understandable, and meaningful way for reporting to upper management. Strong written and verbal communications skills, including effective meeting management; prepare and present (PowerPoint/ Visio); documentation templates for various procedures when needed. Good analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work well as part of a team as well as be self-motivated. Must be open to flexible work schedule to remain in-step with project and organizational needs. This position may require travel up to 15%.
